Build the Ship. Plot the Burn.

Starship Skirmish is live in alpha. Build warships in the Shipyard, draft a fleet, then take it into a 3D turn-based skirmish where every order resolves at once.

Play Starship Skirmish free in your browser. The current alpha requires a desktop viewport of at least 1280×720.

The War Starts in the Shipyard

Choose from 12 hulls across four weight classes, then fit each ship with weapons, shields, missiles, engines, and special systems. Every component spends points and forces a tradeoff. Name and save your builds, then draft a fleet against a point budget before deployment.

Every Turn Is a Wager

First, plot movement and commit: every fleet moves simultaneously. Then assign fire and commit again: every weapon fires simultaneously from the same frozen snapshot, so even a ship destroyed in the volley still gets its shots off.

Space Remembers Every Mistake

  • Momentum carries forward. There is no free stop.
  • The arena boundary is lethal.
  • Wreckage persists and keeps moving through the battlespace.
  • Spent missiles stay armed as ballistic hazards after their guidance ends.
  • Friendly fire is always live.

Feedback Wanted

This is an alpha, and the forge wants useful signal:

  • Did the first-session onboarding get you from the Shipyard into a skirmish?
  • Is the battlefield readable once ships, missiles, and wreckage start moving?
  • Do the Shipyard and combat loop make sense?
  • What feels confusing or unfair?

Send feedback or inspect the source on GitHub. The forge is listening.
