Alpha Release

Glitch Forgeworks has released Operator’s Descent into alpha. It is an infinite-depth cyberpunk rogue-like with glitchy retro visuals, hosted entirely on a static page — no backend, no install, no accounts.

Two systems define it. Saves compress into a portable URL fragment under 1,900 characters, so a run can move to any device by link alone. And a deterministic, seed-driven music engine scores every floor with an infinite chiptune track that reacts to depth, combat, and proximity without cutting to a separate combat theme.

Operator’s Descent is playable now at john-paul-ruf.github.io/Operator-s-Descent. Feedback is open on GitHub.
